Monty

Monty is a 15-month-old Border Collie x Husky with the sweetest heart and the softest nature. His story began in a hard place, abandoned at a dog park in the sweltering heat, but since being rescued he’s spent the last 10 months with loving foster carers who have helped him shine. 

Monty is a sensitive soul who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he can share his days with his people. Think of him as a big teddy bear… always ready for cuddles, belly rubs, and naps tucked in close. He also adores his canine friends and enjoys playtime with pups who match his gentle energy. Because Monty loves his humans so deeply, time apart can be tough for him. He’s learning that being alone is okay, but he will need a family who can help him continue building his confidence. Car rides also aren’t his favourite—his ideal home would be one where he can enjoy life mostly close to home.
