The goal of Safe & Sound is to support people from domestic violence and homelessness.

We can support their pets in crisis to improve positive outcomes, reduce pet surrender, animal abuse and euthanasia.

The Safe & Sound program allows us to temporarily look after pets in an emergency situation for people fleeing domestic violence or find themselves homless and have no financial means for boarding or family & friends to care for their pets during times of crisis.
Our program provides emergency foster care for up to 4 weeks for pets with our animal boarding partners.
This program gives owners peace of mind that their pets are in safe hands while they find a safe place for themselves and that they will be reunited once they’re back on their feet.

Over 70% of women reporting domestic violence incidents said their abusers threatened, hurt or killed their pets.
