Ghost and Zeke

Ghost who is a 9 year old Japanese Spitz & Zeke who is a 7 year old Miniature Dachshund are inseparable. They were surrendered in April 2025 from their owner who had both since they were puppies. Their owner was having trouble with rented accommodation and time to properly care for them. Both boys have settled in well, they are beautiful gentle boys, though they are not keen on other dogs, except for our own dog Norma, whom they really like. 

They love attention & Zeke especially loves to cuddle on the lounge; they also are very food motivated.They love car rides and are very well behaved when being groomed, both boys walk well on harness and lead, but walks must be taken where there are no other dogs. T

hey love to spend time with their humans and are well behaved when left on their own while we are out. Zeke is a lovable healthy boy. Unfortunately, Ghost suffers from Anal Furunculosis which his medication seems to control, otherwise he is also a healthy lovable boy. As they are so bonded and best buddies , they would need a loving home to cater for them both. They enjoy visits from our teenage grandchildren and get excited when visitors arrive, hoping for attention and pats.

Adoption Update

September 2025: Ghost & Zeke came to us on 25th April having been surrendered. They are a loving  unlikely bonded pair and they settled in well with our only dog, 12 year old Norma Jean. Ghost has some minor health issues which are managed with medication. We only received 3 enquiries regarding adoption and none were suitable for them both. So, after fostering them for so many months we decided that adoption to become a permanent part of the family was the best option for them.
