Letti

The first thing you noticed about Letti were probably her teats. Mumma Letti is definitely one of our most resilient dogs, and her teats are a testament to her horrible life before being rescued by Dog Rescue Newcastle. 

Letti is only 2 years old, but has had 4 litters in her short time on this earth. When we first took Letti into our care, she had 3 puppies that were almost as big as her. She was emaciated and had no idea how to be anything other than a mother. 

Since being in foster care, Letti has loved having the attention of her foster parents and loves to sleep at the foot of her foster sisters bed. She adores playing with toys, and will do anything for some food! When you look at Letti’s photo, we hope you see the both the horrors of backyard breeding, and the resilience and persistence of mothers everywhere.
